The CS video is jerky but everything else is fine. This is how it looks on the CS on playback after I have landed. The video from the a/c sd card is perfect.

Any comments as to what you reckon I should do. Return or keep in your opinion?

The full size crystal Sky clip is :-

Thanks

A quick U-tube video comparing the CS video with the P3a sd card video.

It might help if you gave some information about what your concern is.
The live view is not going to look like the recorded video from the SD card.
The P3 Advanced gives Live View Quality720P @ 30fps
The video on the Sd card is going to be 1080p video or better.
Your Youtube video is only 360p quality so it's going to look bad anyway.

The clip is copied straight from the CS internal memory on to the computer.

Thanks Metea4. On playing back the video on my CS after I had landed, I was assuming that would be as good as the SD card from the a/c. I live and learn and your explanation of the live view quality and the U-Tube video has answered my questions. Thank you.

Its a relief to know the CS is not 'on it's way out' - YET :)

Apart from the difference in resolution, the internal video is just a copy of what you see on the screen while flying.
It's affected by any interference and glitches.
But the SD card video is recorded to the SD card direct from the camera.
It's always going to be much better than the live view.

not to mention the extremely low bitrate of the video sent by the p3a to your monitor. its far lower than the bitrate of the video saved on the card.
