windsurfer range

I'm getting ready to get a windsurfer for my p3p. Like alot of people out there I'm getting about 2000' range. Anyone who was getting the same range who decided to put on a windsurfer? How much of a range are you getting now under normal operating conditions?

I do not have a windsurfer set up, but the 2000' is common, however with conditions right (open area, not many buildings or traffic) I have gotten over 7,300'. When I had the 7,300' it was still heading away like a champ, but then I realized that is a long distance and I only had so much battery, so I brought it back.

With out my windsurfer 8000' feet is no problem, with my windsurfer my best so far is 15,228

I would expect about a 50% increase in range. So about 3,000 ft.
