Windows 8 tablet

Hi all, does anybody knows if a Windows 8 tablet runs the DJI software?
Pc driver, RC assistant, Phantom assistant, Iosd mini, etc.
I'm considering buy one for on field adjustments.

I run all of the apps on my Surface Pro. Works well, has the full USB port.

Would have to be running full windows not the rt version.

Right, that's what's on the Surface Pro.

When I first got the P2 I tried running the software and plugging in only the controller/transmitter. That didn't work and it drove me nuts until I realized I was supposed to be plugging it into the actual Phantom port. Duh.
