You use an Apple or Android tablet or phone to run the P3.
You shouldn't need any windows software.

I recently had contact with them about a winPhone / Win10 / UWP App of the dji go app. They confirmed that at the moment there is no app in the pipeline and won't be in the future so far... What a pitty
they don't update windows 10 for the p3
someone would need to write a program(app) in windows code that does what the current android and ios apps does.

Just got a phantom 3 advanced.
The editing software on the pilot app is sufficient for me.on my childs ipad air 2 the clip transitions a re available. On my android phone they're not. ??????

you can edit the files on a pc or mac
lots of good free/cheap software for editing.
lots easier to see on pc as well...
