Heading to Williamsburg , VA at the end of May, and need suggestions on "safe" places to fly. By "safe", I mean with little to no interference from people wondering who I'm spying on. We'll be staying at the Williamsburg Plantation on Long Hill Rd. I've been to one site already that shows it is just outside the no fly zone there. I saw the five mile circle, but then another circle with little round icons with a slash through it, indicating no fly. Anyway, it looks OK from a legal standpoint, but I know nothing about the area. I didn't want to launch from within the townhome community, as it would no doubt create an instant call to the SWAT team to deploy.
So anyone familiar with parks or areas of interest there? Thanks in advance...
