Wifi

Hello all! Been reading this forum for 5 days now. You guys are a pile if knowledge and thanks for sharing! Anyway, bought a v 1.1.1 8 days ago. I'm being very conservative with my flights until I feel I've got flight coordination. Yesterday, I took it to about 300 feet. All was going very well until I flew over my home. Within 75 feet if my roof the phantom took off like a rocket!!! Tried HL and gps fail safe to no avail. My question to you is it possible my home wifi put the phantom in a tizzy? It flew nearly 1000 feet away before making contact with a tree and fell to ground. I don't use the gopro wifi as recommended so my thoughts on my home wifi?

I fly directly over my house with a Wifi network and have never had any problem...And I have flown withing a few feet of the roof of my house and all around it.
