So my compass has got magnetised , it should read between 1400 to 1500 units , mine is now reading 300 units so something has upset it...

So does anyone know why this would happen??

I would try calibrate the compass and when I finish all lights would flash red and I would get a warning that there is too much electromagnetic interference..

It's back with the shop I bought it off to try fix it..

That issue can usually be resolved by degaussing the compass.

Degaussing is tricky. Don't do it unless you're confident you've magnetized the compass. When you check the values make sure it is away from all metal objects. If you leave your Phantom in close proximity to strong magnetic fields like speakers then it could become magnetized.
