Why the extra gimbal mounts?

Why does the P3 come with four extra rubber gimbal mounts? Do they go bad quickly>\?

And why are there only to retaining pins on the gimbal mount? Seems odd but there must be a reason.

And to answer my own question, a minute more research would show that you only need two retainers. Still not sure why they package extras...

The extras are in case you need such as after a crash.

There are only two anti-drop pins installed (diagonally) on the gimbal mount. That's all that is needed.

OK, if that's the case, DJI should have packaged the kit with a half dozen propellers instead of the extra two.....

because if you have to remove the gimbal/ camera-- you will need the extra pins-- because you will probably damage the originals trying to get them out.
