Why is my SD card video, so much better?

Than when I put it in Adoby Premiere 13? Focus is great and no blown out areas on the SD card. I tired of putting together blurry videos. I not the brightest kid on the block, but I can take pictures well. I'm brain washed by my wife and family that my videos looks good. I have to quit kidding myself, it's garbage! I stink at editing. My equipment is as antiquated as I am. OK, I'm Done Ranting.( Hum, I don't feel any better.)

Premiere elements 13? That one is quite old.
