why am i getting weak signal??

P3A, live in oceanside, ca suburb of san diego...shouldnt be that much interference?

i was about 200 ft in the air, and just about 700ft away when i got weak signal and got nervous and came back.

is that normal for a city area im in? is there stuff i can buy to go further? this is the reason i got the lightbridge model.

I get a weak signal in my neighborhood, but I attribute that to interference from wifi networks. When I go to a more secluded park I get a better signal. Have you tried multiple locations?

Check the channel you are using. See if there's a better channel for that location.
Remember that if the antenna is pointed straight at the Phantom, signal will suffer. It can be a lot.
The Phantom should be Perpendicular to the antennas.

I get a flicker of it when shooting thru sparse trees located within 5-6 ft of me and the LOS to bird.

Never an issue unless something was between me and bird but I'm somewhat rural.
