Which to use... iPad Air (wifi only) ...or iPad Air2 with 3G

my question: is it better to use iPad Air wifi only or iPad Air 2 wifi with 3G ?

I would prefer iPad Air with wifi only... Anyone see a reason not to?

iPad Air can't use follow me mode
iPad Air 2 - can use follow me mode since it has a gps

There are three other reasons as well to use a cellular IPad.
1- you can cache maps at location without wifi.
2- you can live stream at location without wifi.
3- you can perform FW updates at location without wifi if needed.

Get the iPad mini 4 with cell. Works the best. Plus great visibility in sun.

However if you have a cell phone and can turn on hot spot, you can use a wifi only iPad Air 2 for the items you listed above.

Agreed! That is if you have a plan with a hotspot or tether. Most providers charge for this. One would have to pay extra, or be with another device such as a friend that has the hotspot.
The IPad Air2 or the mini 4 with cellular is still the best choice.

I already have both iPad Air and iPad Air 2 with cell.... So I'll stick with the cell version. Thanks for all the input guys
