which flight mode to avoid metal interference

hello

Today I was trying to fly in a zone where there are lots of metal construction and p3 was literally dancing ,n the air. it was making small circles while I wasnt touching any controller and I am assuming that the heavy metal objects was interfering compass. I was obviously on gps mode and my question is if i can avoid this by going into att mode. or any other tips to help you can think of

Maybe ... you'll only find out by trying.
Come in from above and gently low till you detect the magnetic influence and switch over to atti and see what happens.
I had to fly in that situation once but just stayed above it just out of range of the effect.
