P3 Firmware Which correct FW readouts?

Hi guys/gals.
I kept reading about firmware updates here, but a bit confused which readouts am i suppose to look from the two places. There is one from the white box from the DJI GO app:
"Equipment: P3 Professional"
"Firmware version: 1.1.5"
"Downgrade Firmware to:".......then a dropped box "1.5.80"

And the other when my remote is linked to the aircraft and i click the "About" section:
"App...............2.8.2"
"Version.........1.5.30+"
"R/C................1.5.70"
"SN................ie.01234567"

I just got my P3A last week and maybe wanna take advantage of any fixed bugs issues.Thanks.

Never mind. I guess both the AC and RC has to have matching firmware. But mine still works out of box eventhough it's not matching.

The firmware on the app drone and controller are always different to each other
The app will tell you when you need to update

heykool69, do a search for info on firmware 1.5 in the Phantom 3 Pro/Adv section.
This firmware version 1.5 has some fatal battery issues causing battery shutdown mid-flight
to "save" the battery from damage during times of high power consumption (full throttle).
Basically cutting all power and sacrificing the aircraft to save a battery…
I would go with Firmware 1.6 or 1.8. The RC controller and batteries may also need a firmware upgrade.
Current firmware is v1.9.6, (which also contains a battery firmware update) and RC controller 1.6 .
