Hey, I'm a new owner of a Phantom 2 and I would like to use a Zippy 2800 battery as a spare. Anyone know what the type of connector is called that DJI uses?
Thanks!
Mark
Re: What type of connectors does DJI use for their batteries
The P2 and it's variants use the 5200 mAh proprietary 'intelligent' batteries.
The contacts are just 'blade' types built into the battery compartment along with comm. terminals for the system to interface with the battery.
You will not be able to use a 'typical' 3S LiPo for a back-up.

You can't use a "generic" LiPo battery with a P2. The battery is "smart", and the Phantom can't use it without the circuitry that's contained within the P2's battery.
