What steps do I take when this occurs.......lost WiFi and transmitter signal

Using the default settings in DJI GO, the Phantom will automatically return home after the remote controller signal has been lost for 3 seconds. So, there is nothing you need to do. It would be a good idea to double-check the RTH altitude and other related settings prior to each flight.

Become familiar with RTH, how it works and how to use it.
Read the three RTH pages in the manual, go to a big open area and try it out to get practical experience ... including turning your controller off when the Phantom is 100+ feet away.
