1) What kind of Bats do you guys use, the Originals, or the knock offs?
2) What kind of chargers do you use and what percentage charge do you keep them stored at?
3) Say you plan to go flying charge your Bats 100% Can you keep them that way for how long? And then top them off or should you discharge them and recharge when you can go?
4) That being the case what do you use to Discharge your Bats?

Thanks ~Duke

#1 OEM
#2 OEM....100%
#3 Have 3 and try and use them every day . Some discharge but I don't .
#4 I fly them down....but when they cool off I fill em up again :D

Storing Phantom batteries at full charge (or too little charge) is a good way to wreck them.
If not being used for more than a few days, they should be around 50%.

Meta what do you discharge them with? I mean I hate to use my Quad putting wear on the Mtrs.
Thanks ~Duke

My primary 2 batteries are Limefuel 6000 mAh after markets. I have 3 very dodgy original DJI batteries I barely trust. - They're incredibly erratic in the remaining power they'll display; on one occasion showing 7% charge (not a typo - 7%) via the OSD while showing all 4 LEDs on the back of the battery. I've fully charged them and had them show 80% charge on the iOSD, and other days I've fully charged them and had them show 98% This unreliability is what drove me to the aftermarket ones which have never put a foot wrong. Aftermarket ones from people that specialise in making batteries are vastly better than ones made by a company that specialises in making UAVs in my opinion.

I use two genuine DJI chargers.

I always think I'm going to fly again in the next day or two so almost always refill them immediately.
The OEM's will self-discharge if it turns out that I don't get to fly.

I generally check everything the night before a flight, including re-topping up anything that needs charging, including Monitor/Receivers, controllers, etc.

Thanks for your Input Ezookiel, I did a search on the Limefuel and have been doing some reading on Customer reviews. I learned one thing. DJI updates their battery firmware and don't upgrade it on the limefuel as it will chit brick them. I don't like hearing that about DJI, because I believe in free trade, and I do believe DJI's battery's are well over priced. Yeah they may have features other batteries don't but they aren't worth 3 times the price of competitor quads batteries.

Not sure Limefuel could ever make P3 batteries. It's ok to not upgrade the firmware on the battery on a P2, but the P3's are pretty fussy about updates I believe.

Yeah, sorry, I was only commenting on P3's, not saying you were using one.
I have a standard P2.
