What is the latest on taking these on a plane?

I'm going to bangladesh at xmas. Thought that would be a spectacular location for some aerial shooting.
Just wondered if any one knew what the latest guide on travelling with these things might be?
I'm going via Dubai.
I would ideally take it hand luggage. WIll they be ok with the battery? And will it have to be charged so that I can show it switches on like you have to with computers?
Then I guess a recalibration at the other end
Just wondered what peoples knowledge/thoughts would be on this

I still cant decide whether to risk taking this to Banlgadesh via Dubai. And I go on Saturday.

I don't have any experience with Dubai, but I flew all over Europe this summer and was never asked to turn on my P2V+ and was actually only asked what it was once (Paris). I carried it on as a Personal item in a backpack along with all three batteries and all my spares. NO PROBLEM ANYWHERE. Take it and enjoy it!
