What 'device' for P3S - my 16GB iPhone 6S or my 32GB iPad mini 2 wifi

Not sure which to set up as my screen. The iPhone is obv used daily and full or junk but the ipad is only wifi. In theory ipad best size wise and i think has gps just need to preload maps right?

Also need something to mod the remote to take the tablet as a P3S. Seems hed to locate something useful in uk. Wish I'd gone for P3P already but funds dictated :-/

I switched from my iphone to a wifi only ipad mini2 and would not go back to the phone unless i absolutely had to. Bought a mount on amazon for $18 cdn no drilling or mods required.
