Ive got a de-comissioned quadcopter for the moment and will take about an entire month according to DJI  Anyways, in the mean time I wanted to know what you guys use for video capturing & its settings etc. I tried searching but have had mixed responses about settings. Some say 720p & some say 1080p 30fps but then another say 1080p 60fps or even suggest using the 2.7 Cine K settings? Im new to this whole aerial videography so im just trying to get a sense of how others are doing it.

I use 1080p at 60fps usually. If it's towards the end of the day, I'll up it to 1440 at a lower frame rate to get more brightness in.

As far as editing software, my wife had a MacBook Pro so we use Final Cut Pro X (dirt cheap!)

I am currently using an old dell studio laptop using windows 7 which is okay i guess, but sooner or later id probably wanna get a better PC tower mainly for editing & PP. ISnt a lower FPS better for stabilized video? Ive got a gimbal for the gopro which helps but I read that a lower FPS helps out too.
