Several days ago I launched a Litchi waypoint mission (Phantom 3S). Started up, GPS good, hovering nicely, switched to F, mission loaded and began. On proceeding to the first waypoint, it headed off slowly in the wrong direction. As I got that sinking feeling that my Phantom was headed to the abyss, I almost switched to P mode. Right before I did that, Litchi announced "Bad GPS data", so instead I switched to Atti mode (since P mode and/or RTH could have been problematic, given the lack of accurate/correct GPS data) and flew it home. I landed, put in a new battery (because it was a somewhat long (timewise) mission) and took off again. This time the mission flew perfectly. This was not a Litchi issue, I'm sure, but it was odd. Fortunately the winds were calm. I don't really have a question, just wanted to share the story.

I wonder if it had anything to do with that giant, flying saucer that was hovering overhead at the time
