Hi everyone. I had two successful flights today and then went to do a third and got this picture on my iPad then the same on my iPhone.

I did update to the latest firmware last night after not updating for a while and had two good flights.
I've disconnected the gimbal and reconnected, I've switched batteries and SD cards. Idk what to do anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This looks like a problem with Video streaming. Whats the setting for Hardware decoding?

Try on a phone, change USB cable also.

I just tried different cables and I'm using certified apple cables. Also I just toggled the hardware decoding on and off with no success.

Try it on a phone also. I'm trying to isolate the issue.

I have another phantom controller and just linked that to the drone and problem is still there so now I think it's the gimbal.

I think that some component has burned due to temperature. Happen the same when in personal computer your graphic card is abandoning you due to not enough cooling many times...should be the chipset that manage video transmission.

Are the video recorded in sd card ok?

I did go to fly it and took it from the case and set it up only to get a phone call and walk away for 30mins with it in my car in the South FL heat. Video looks like this. Plays back this way as well.

Might be a sign of your camera starting to crap out. I just recently had mine replaced by DJI under the 6-month warranty. Mine was showing green and purple lines and it would randomly cut through and breakup the transmission.

This is a little weird and you may ask why I've been using the advanced but I have a professional version too that my office supplied me with and I've been flying my personal advanced version. Could I just switch the cameras?

Ugh I'm outside of my 6months

Bummer! Call DJI and see how they can help you. They actually have surprisingly good customer service. Their repair facility is located in Carson, CA and I have already had to send my P3P twice. First, for stress cracks and second time for the camera. Their service turn around is usually between 1-2 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if yours has the same camera issue that mine had. Also, try to negotiate a lower price for the camera. Start with asking for a 40% discount and try to get nothing less than 20%. If this fails, B&H sells it for $279 without tax. Good luck!

Thanks for your help I appreciate it. For now I'm updating the phantom pro for use since its been sitting but I'll probably skip the whole DJI step and buy the gimbal from B&H
