Get on firmware 3.06 (download from DJI site) - fixes TBE and J hook, what we refer to as magnetic declination (distortion of North).
Use the PC software phantom assistance and do an IMU calibration when cold. Make sure its on a levelled surface, ie same level as the horizon and not levelled as per your computer table. Use a spirit/bubble level.
Find a nice open field and do compass dance as per DJI app - I still see people cartwheeling the phantom on the second step of the compass calibration.

Thanks for that. Ill give it another try. It was working good, then the drifts started getting bigger.
