What can cause the camera to be so washed out..? I'm not talking video, just looking at the screen it is overexposed. The only difference between today and yesterday is that I did the DBS mod and new 32 gig card.

Look at the camera settings line in the app and see if you have it set to overexpose.
See the blue EV0 in the screenshot above?
That's indicating that the camera is set right but if it was something like EV3.0, that would indicate you had set it to over expose by 3 F-stops and the screen would be very washed out.
