Warning to US Trackimo users

So June 1st my Trackimo stopped working.
After a few go arounds with tech support it turns out that AT&T and Verizon have shut down their 2G services.
So the 2G model still being sold by various companies and fleaBay sellers is worthless in the US now.
Anyone wanna Trackimo cheep?

Knowing that, I recently bought a 3G Trackimo. Still works today.

In my area they shut down 2G at least a year ago and all my tracking devices quit working. I bought a 3G unit and have yet to get the messaging and data working. It will receive and act on text messages but no replies. It can receive and make voice calls.

Not surprising. Remaining carrier support for 2G was being phased out for some time. I'm surprised they've supported it this long.
