Would really like the 360 panorama head and remote by Drone Experts.

Can not justify paying 500EUR for one.

Why not just slowly YAW a full 360 degrees with GoPro taking a pic every 1 - 5 seconds?

I had one of these on a P2 version 2. It worked well and the portrait orientation of the GoPro and resulting images allowed for rapid capture, even on windy days.

Now I have a Phantom 3 and am unsure whether I'll still be needing it. The camera on the P3 seems excellent, although capture time is longer with multi-passes required after tilting the camera down to make two or even three layers. This adds to the complexity of stitiching the final composite (in terms of fixing mis-alignments).

I also read an article on extracting frames from 4K video footage from the onboard camera which I have tried, but not yet processed.
