Bought the Vision Utility Pro from Taco RC which is a software flight logger.

I knew they had a version out for the P2V+ but not for the P2V!
Logging the first 3 flights worked without a glitch.
Pulled the *.csv file into Dashware using the Flytrex profile.
However still some difference in speed depending on gauges used. Probably some error in one of the calculated fields and should be easy to fix.
It was a bit more of a pain to convert the CSV file into a GPX or KML file to feed into Google Earth.
I've made a short video at 3x speed - using Dasheware and Active GPX.
Really nice to finally capture the GPS data directly in the phone.
Only cons are battery nor camera status being logged.

This does sound very interesting...
Luap - could you explain the conversion steps you used in a little more detail and what software was required.
Thanks

Had three csv files but they were not containing any data ? Any thoughts ?

Here is how I start and stop the logger:

I'm Using a Nexus7 v2 - 1.08 firmware and 1.038 DJI Vision
I had to wait a while (1 or 2 minutes) after stopping the logger before file appeared (but not always the case).
Did you open the CSV file in your phone/tablet or on your PC - I would 1st check on phone/tablet.

No conversion required for Dashware.
To transfer the CSV into GPX or KML format for Google Earth (or other sw) I use GPSBABEL and rename the CSV titles to match the attached

I have tried the Vision Utility Pro again and I get a csv file after every flight but it seems to not log any data ?
All I get in the csv file is the Headers and not GPS data logged into it. Any clues ?
I am running ver. 2.0 firmware and Vision app ver. 1.38 on a Sony Xperia Z2 mobilephone

Note:
I dont use a Taco gimbal I am flying with a RotorPixel gimbal but that should´nt matter or ?

this is all I can see in the csv file
latitude,longitude,altitude(feet),ascent(feet),speed(mph),distance(feet),time(millisecond),gps,motor on

It does´nt log any data whatsooever , Time to buy a Flytrex instead and return this Vision Util Pro App

do you have a chance to upgrade your phantom and app to the latest version? please reply.

Yes I guess I could..... but I really don't like the latest firmware from Dji.
Quite happy with the 2.0 Firmware and 1.38 Vision App on me Xperia Z2

Thank you for your response.

one customers emailed us hints that fixed the problem. if there is some power saving app installed in your android phone or phone settings for power saving, please turn them off. since they block the background data transfer and background task execution. also, before turning on the logger, clean up some unused background job or app. please test it.

Where are you getting the pitch from?, or how are you calculating it?
