Video without iPhone

I saw this question before but now can not find it, if I want to record video without using my iPhone do I just push record button on camera go flying then download sd card to computer crappy weather here and can not fly to experiment

there seems to be 2 recording modes :

1- short press = green blinking led = DJI00001 one mp4 file for each clip (no split) .

2 - long press = orange blinking led= LOOP00001 mp4 file splits every 3 mins .
