I wanted to start this thread so everyone could show off there edits with the new Vision+. Please add a description of your editing software, Camera settings, and all that jazz. DON'T POST BORING FIRST FLIGHT VIDEOS! We have all seen enough of those.

Camera: 1080p 30fps, Standard Sharpening, ISO 200, Auto WB.

Edit: I used Premiere Pro. First time really diving into the program so I didn't do any post on the footage, just simple transitions and a little slow mo. Hope you like! Lets see some edits!!!!

REMOVE &feature=youtu.be TO EMBED YOUTUBE VIDEOS.

Here's my latest edit:

DJI Phantom 2 Vision +
Filmed @ 720 @ 60fps (YouTube uploads in 1080 though), all other settings default

Video editor: Sony Vegas Pro
Tried to edit in only non-boring smooth flight clips into 4 min from 40min flight footage, along with syncing with music.
Put in a little slo-mo in a couple clips.
I have another version with fisheye removed, but for this video, it actually looked good.

Edit: Not a Vision to be honest. Didn't see what forum this was.
But filmed with a Phantom and 3D gimbal.

Something I'm using a lot in Adobe Premiere is reversing clips in an attempt to make clipped out short segments more flowing.

This from this evening otherwise more or less standard 1080p/30/standard sharpness.
I wasn't expecting much because the live feed seemed very dark, it was also barely calm enough to take off and land safely but you would never know, but was quite pleased when I downloaded it.
The dog walker was fascinated as he has a RC helicopter but "never managed to make much of it'.
I had to keep low for a degree of shelter.

Incidentally to embed video you need to edit htttps:// to http:// manually.

Edited car chase video in the style of Knight Rider. Made with Phantom 2 Vision+ (including the dashboard shots) and Adobe Premiere.

High Shanghai : A high view of a high city

I'm still impressed by some shot because, if you look carefully, it was REALLY windy on some of those days, mainly the sunny cos in Shanghai, no wind = big block of clouds. This bird handles its wind brilliantly.

Edited with Adobe Premiere, mainly did some color correction and a quick title intro/outro with the infos. Waiting to be back in Tahiti to finally use it for short movies and other more fictional matters.

Just sharing the enjoyment ! :)

Bless !

Has anyone made a correction for the flashing shadows..all of the movies includes flashing black parts(especially obvious on grass or trees)..

You can see it on the video which is posted by another user above my message , at 1:05 look at the building ''the peninsula'' you can see the flashing of shadows..

In Premiere, antialias will reduce it, but does introduce some softness, you may need unsharp mask or regular sharpen to follow.
A light gaussian blur is also worth trying.
You soon start to create a plastic-looking image doing this, it is not something to use as default - but maybe to clean up an otherwise good sequence which has some of the distracting flashing.

Is there any example that we can see reduced flashing shadows..It is weird, a camera with that resolution quality records movies with that disturbing flashing effect...

I'll try some of that on the specific scene mentioned before, and i'll post the result so we can compare between the different techniques and see which one compromises the best between quality loss and flickers. I tried the un/sharpen effect but it was way too soft and plastic looking indeed, so i chose the flickers over the look. Thanks for the useful comment, will surely look into that. This camera certainly has a weird reaction to repetitive textures such as grass, trees or roof tiles...

My 2nd Edit. Really getting this thing down over the water. Shot the surf all weekend. Trying to keep the edit tight so its not boring.
Edited in Premiere Pro, 1080p 30fps.

Ok. Last one for a while. Sorry for the square format. Still figuring out how to use Premiere Pro. Shot @720 60fps. Stoked on how smooth the slow mo came out. Footage is as good as expected.

supertrooper,
Nice work on your vids. I'm starting to video surfing. You've done a nice job. What tips do you have for recording surfing? Harder than it looks to do. How high up above the water is the camera when shooting the close shots?
