[Video] Phantom 4 hovering in 30mph (45km/h) winds... WOW

I've had mine in 20mph+ winds and was "blown away" (sorry for the pun) by the solid handling. I started with an FC40 and have had every Phantom since. This one is by far the best, most stable platform to date. I always hand catch my aircraft and try to take off in a wind protected area, if only protected by my vehicle. So far, that works. I wouldn't normally fly in that much wind, but it is good to know that if I HAD to for some reason, what it would do. I guess it is kind of like pilots landing in cross winds etc. Great if you never have to, but if you have to, better to have the experience and not freak out. Hmmmmm.....maybe I would freak out anyway in a high wind situation, but at least I'd have some experience.

I think the stronger motors and better aerodynamics helps...
