video, most amazing sunrise Dublin

Yeah we're not too small of a town in the grand scale of things. The green dots are just a bit of lens flare, a filter would sort them out but I think they can work well in some cases

nice!

at what height was it filmed?

A city is a city but a high pole in the middle of it and at sunrise is cool :D You know how i feel about it ;)

nice smooth video and good views. How far away from the base of the spire did you need to be? I find that its best to keep an angle of no more than 45 degrees when flying at that height to keep a good connection.

Really nice!

You would not be allowed to fly over a city in the UK, but it looks like the IAA regulations are more lax for model aircraft under 7Kgs. I guess they might get you on failing to take reasonable precautions to ensure safe flight, or flying within the Dublin Infringement Zone...

I know the IAA contacted the chap who flew over Cork city.

*NOTE the caption on the last photo - they call the P2V+ a Predator II drone :)

Would be good to know if they are contacting other multi-rotor pilots?

The video is beautiful but can't help but feel, and don't give out to me, that it plays into the hands of those who would like to tighten up regulations.

Now I'm going to climb down off my high (but lower than 400 feet) horse.
