Video Freeze

Shooting 4k on a Phantom 3 Pro I have one video clip that at after about 15 sec freezes on a frame as the clip continues for another 3 min. The file is the right size as if the video kept recording (about 3 gigs) but stops at about 15sec. All the other clips are fine and playback correctly. Has anyone else seen this and is there a fix?

Have you tried with a different sd card? Preferably the one that came with it?

If it only happened on the one file it could be from power off while still recording.

Was it the last video shot? If so did you allow sufficient time for the phantom to finalise writing the file? It can pay to check you have a solid green light on the gimble before powering down.

I've had this issue with almost all of my videos. P3P, Sandsk Ultra 32g, Samsung 8+. I have a SanDisk Extreme Pro on the way and an Ipad mini.
