Video editing software for pc

So I'd like to make better videos from my p3s, and I was wondering what y'alls opinions were for good video editing software for pc...

I use sony vegas or adobe premiere pro, but they arent free

I'm learning with Filmora. I think I paid $29 for it. Maybe I should just fly better and not have to edit.

I just bought Cyberlink Power Director 14 Ultimate. It's pretty powerful but not that complicated to use and there are lots of tutorials on You Tube under Power Director University channel.

For basic quick and dirty edits, use Windows Movie Maker. It's not shipped with Windows 10 anymore but is still free and available on the internet under Windows Essentials package.

I have used GoPro studio, it's not bad and free. Import /convert the source video. Has decent slo mo effects, etc. also use Nikon's NX View, also free.

Sony Vegas its pretty easy. As long as you dont want to add a ton of effects, it takes care of contrast and color pretty good.
