Using Vision app with Blackberry Z10

A friend gave me his Blackberry Z10. I've been using an iPhone 5, and will also be using an iPad Air. The BB Z10 is a nice in--between size.

It works with the Vision app, except when I try to use the "Find My Phantom 2 Vision" feature. Then I get a message saying that Google Play is required. I've been trying to install and run Google Play, but no luck.

Has anyone been able to successfully use a Blackberry with the Find My Phantom feature?

After screwing around with work-arounds and patches, I came to the conclusion that this can't be done.

I use a BB Q5. Do you have the latest BB O/S? If you do you can get Snap installed and Google Maps sort of works. It says you need Play but click on thru and you get to Google Maps. That now works like a charm.

. . . I've never tried the find my Phantom feature before but just did. I couldn't get it to work on my Q5 but it works like a charm on my Samsung tablet. A cool feature.
