Anyone found a way to make use of the rear mount slot on the Diversity RX-LCD5802 monitor for a secure mount?

The mount hole and hand screw that come with it work ok but leaves the monitor loose and not feeling securely mounted on my standard DJI controller with carbon fiber mount kit.

The rear slot seems like a prime candidate to use but I have no idea what mount hardware I'd need.

try a different screw. I don't use that carbon fiber mount anymore but the mounting screw they gave me didn't seem to fit well. When I used a regular tripod. It fit perfect.

Then when I tried different mounts... Bingo. everything else fit.

I ordered these two items:

SmallRig D Shaft D-ring Screw 1/4" (2-pack) for Camera Tripod Qr Quick Release Plate by SmallRig http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006GB5MDW/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_x7pytb0HQC3C2

RJ Camera SA3 Shoe-To-Tripod Screw Adapter (Black) by RJ Camera http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005BI5WMW/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_d-pytb04VZQXF

One is a new mount screw that looks like it won't tear my fingers apart like the stock one.

The other item looks like it has a square foot on one side and might be just the thing to use on the back slot.

I'll report back on how they work.

Ok, results are in. The RJ Camera SA3 Shoe-To-Tripod Screw Adapter is the solution.

Rock solid, easy on and off, better controller balance and LCD viewing.
