I've bought a P3P drone with GL300A controller. I was able to sync them with C1+C2+Camera buttons method. Connecting to different phones with USB does not work though. I've tried three Android phones and one iPad. I tried to update firmware with SD card - nothing happens.

I've seen that the USB is mounted on a separate detachable board. This board can be replaced with HDMI module. I don't need HDMI per se. Is it possible to get a used module with USB controller for replacement somewhere?

Alternatively I could try to buy a whole new controller (maybe used), but I'm not sure if that would be cost effective.

Is there any other idea I can try to find out if it makes sense to replace USB board or it's better to buy a new controller?
Thanks.

Try a different usb to device cable first. I'd stay away from any updates for now...Why the C1 C2 cam button sync? why not thru app?
More information will help figure this too..

He cant use the app to sync as his device is not communicating via the usb connection to the RC as he said.

Exactly! Thank you. Stuck in [How to Connect] help screen.

Tried at least three cables (Apple, USB Type C and MicroUSB).

Anybody tried to replace the USB board before? Is it worth trying or I should buy another controller instead?
