Updating to latest DJIGo App

I believe the latest DJI Go app is 3.1.50 I run 3.1.11 on a I pad mini 4 with IOS 11.4 (IOS 12.1.1) is available for update.. Will I experience problems if I go to the latest version? flight restrictions or ? I'm trying to learn the firmware update process for my P3P & this would be the first step in firmware update process, updating to the latest GO App..
Do I delete the current app first & then install latest?
There are no problems with flying the aircraft now..

So sorry about posting in the "Wrong Section" figured it was P3P & that's what I needed "help" with.. Where did it get moved?
