Updating mini 4

I usually use my iPad mini 4 exclusively for my P3P. Let the wife use it recently to write emails & she experienced keypad freezing problems, also my battery run time seems to go quick, certainly not 10 hours, although I can fly 3 batteries with the Phantom no problems.(always fully charged before flight) Apple support suggests updating to the latest iOS software which is 11, thus maybe eliminating battery & keyboard problems, if I were to restore the iPad to factory default & reinstall the DJI Go app will I experience the sign in & out problems associated from updating that I've read so much about? Height & distance etc.
My DJI Go app is version 3.1.11

Good question, I will follow with interest. I fly with an ipad mini4 and so far have resisted updating. I did try the Beta of IOS 11, and rapidly downgraded, and too scared now to try again.

Did you experience problems with IOS 11? How's your I pad battery cycle life? Do you find yourself very frequent charging? What version Go app are you using?
