Updating firmware

Hello, I just ordered a p3a and should arrive Wednesday. My question is, do I need to purchase an SD Card reader to do update. I own a p3s and everything is done from dji go app. Thanks

The only thing you can update from the app is pretty much the controller only.
The app will tell you if the drone needs an update, but you'll have to drop in ur card into ur computer to DL the file, then reinstall the card into ur drone to update.

Yes please buy an SF card reader / adapter to plug micro ad card to your computer.

Updating is one thing, but what about transferring your videos and pics from the drone to your computer?
It's good as well, to have a couple or several micro sd cards on hand.
When you buy one, it should have an adapter/reader included in the package.
