P4 Firmware Update...How to...

I am still confused about how to update my drone(P4P) and my intelligent flight batteries !! Do i need to plug the bird to my Ipad through the GO 4 app, or directly to my computer ? I have looked up for some answers on YouTube and tried it but still confused since nothing shows me that it is updating !! Please HELP ME

To me the best and secure way is connecting the bird and controller to the pc and update the firmware through dji assistant app.
