I suppose it doesn't matter. I understand the procedure via moving the sd card from your computer to the aircraft, but I understand you can just use the usb cable (when your sd card is plugged into the aircraft) to update the aircraft? Does the aircraft need to be turned ON to be able to access the sd card on the aircraft?

My mac book pro doesn't have an SD card slot, so I just hook the cable up to the gimble. Copy the firmware update file to the SD root directory, and reboot. Updates just fine.

You seriously need to read through the manual. Not kidding on this either.

Read the manual... didn't see anything about it in manual v1.6 unless I missed it!

Jamsta, my instructions here explain how to install the firmware using a USB cable.

Thanks Mike. I tried looking for your link prior to just posting to read the manual.
