Two remotes, one bird

I know you can not use two remotes at the same time. I am looking to get the new remote with he scroll wheel. Can I bind both remotes to the quad and use them interchangably, or do I need to rebind them each time I want to switch? I would like to get the stage two fpv mod on one.

You will have to bind them each time. Easy to do.

I've wondered if it's possible to do the opposite: one remote, two birds. Can you fly two at the same time with one remote? (I know it's a bad idea; just wondering hypothetically.)

Not with DJI's equipment. The drone is bound to one transmitter at a time.
Each DJI transmitter has a unique encoded address (like most or all other brands).
