Turning the tables on the FAA

Search and rescue group in Texas got the dreaded letter from the FAA.
Instead of complying, they're filing a lawsuit against the FAA.
Maybe the FAA will finally slack off with their attacks until they do get some real laws on the books.
I doubt it. I'm sure they will find someone else to harass.

While I sympathize with their position it's a dangerous tactic. Playing that kind of public "dare" with authority and asking for what amounts to a showdown is probably not a wise gamble. Trying to back a government agency into a corner is not likely to turn out well. I only hope they have an attorney as good as the one Pirker had.
