What do you guys think of this placement under the upgrade board, clover leaf will go through small hole to the right of blink indicator and be outside of craft.

My question is do you think this will being so close to board cause any issues?

heat issues from battery?

Ummmm.... unless I'm mistaken, if you place your video TX there you will not be able to get a battery in the Phantom !!

well i moved the transmitter over enough ( had to cut out of the phantom plastic frame ) enough that the battery fits no problem will update with pictures of the final placement .

Yes, that will work. This is what I did before I switched to dual TX. However, you will want to put a right-angle connector so the cloverleaf is pointing down. This will put the signal hole directly underneath the craft but will give good reception from all side directions. If you leave it sticking straight out, you will likely encounter dropouts as the craft yaws (good reception from the left and right but poor from the front and back).
