Transmitter battery question

I bought my P3P several months ago off the forum. When I first got it the transmitter battery would last a long time while sitting.

I updated the transmitter at least twice since I have had it. What I am seeing may have nothing to do with my issue but I thought it worth mentioning.

Now, if I let it sit for a week the battery is totally dead. No lights at all. I can recharge it and it will take a full charge just fine. When I flew last weekend I only flew 2 or 3 flights and it came down 1 light. Just tried to turn it on now after sitting a week and it was dead again.

So, my question is how long does your transmitter battery last if it is just sitting?

I thought about it a little more and it's been 2 weeks since I used it. Sat since then.

I would think the longest I have left the transmitter unused would be a month and from memory it hadn’t discharged a lot, it certainly wasn’t fully discharged.
