Transmiter help

Hello guys,

I own a phantom 2 vision but im having some doubts with the transmitter.
I think i understand the different flight modes, attr mode and gps mode but what i cant
figure out is in what position does S1 and S2 has to be to select either of the modes, can any one
help me out with this one?

i would also like to know, is it possible to add a wifi extender (such as the one in the transmitter) below the dji
so that it can go further?

Section 13.2 of the manual should help.

What the switches do (I believe) depends upon what mode you're flying in. So in Vision mode (the ready to fly out of the box mode) with the switches in the forward position you're effectively in GPS and letting the NAZA do most of the work as long as you've got reasonable satellite coverage and have done the compass dance etc.

IOC and HL don't seem to work on these modes as the default failsafe is to return home and land. It's when you switch it to NAZA mode (in the assistant) that all the additional functions become available. That's why they suggest completing the advance flight manoeuvres procedure.
