The videos are recorded to the SD card near the base of the gimbal.
Pop the SD card, put it in an adapter and copy yo your computer.
Then copy from that to the phone if you want it there.

I am a fairly new flyer also. But here is what I found. The Files are not saved on the controller just on the drones sd card. They do have card readers that will plug into a mini usb (also the Apple plug) so you can transfer straight to your phone.

@Mike Pennings, if you need to buy a memory card reader, this Transcend memory card reader is inexpensive and works great. I've been using mine for a few years now.
