Trackimo with low cell signal ?

Got my Trackimo today. Testing it and getting mixed results. Cell signal in my area is marginal. If I set the Trackimo on the ground I can not communicate. If iset it 6' off the ground it works. What bothers me if I put it on my Phantom and it goes down in a corn or soybean field it won't work. Any ideas? Thanks

Just bought a Trackimo also but haven't had a chance to try it out. I did charge and activate it and it shows my position but that's all I've done. Let us know what you find out

Decided to send it back. Ordered a Marco Polo. I just can't see getting enough cell signal in an 8' tall corn field.
