To takeoff in non-P modes, togglre flight mode switsh to another mode and then togglre it back???

Put in the mode you desire, GO will give you that you can fly with GPS or with no GPS and to proceed with caution. Remember if you have no GPS lock the craft has no RTH capability. The craft with satelite signal will RTH in atti mode. You can toggle back and forth to all modes when flying.
It's safer and easier to take off and land in P mode.

No need to toggle the switch. In the Go app, touch the auto-take off icon (the up arrow with a bar under it) on the left of the page. Alternatively, start the motors by pulling and holding both joysticks down and in until the motors start, then just push the up stick forward.
