Time to get FAA License

Just wondering how long it takes from the time IAcra gave me a temp license until I get the real one.

IAcra site approved it Nov 29th

Just wondering what others have been experiences for wait times.

Eight weeks sounds about right. My friends license took 8 weeks and a day or so.

My temp was Oct 27th and I'm not expecting it until just before New Year's.

But don't let it bum you out. You can print out the temp certificate that is good until your plastic card arrives.

Took test October 24, received my hard copy yesterday (12-17).

I passed my test last week in September, just got it in the mail this past Friday 12/16

Took exam on Oct 27th and my permanent card showed up in today's mail (Dec 19th).

Mine took about three weeks.but I didn't have to do the full part 107 test. The rules are different if you ave a pilot license and you are current. You just take an online quiz at faa.gov. 20 questions, if I recall. No fee.
