As a pilot, I was stunned to see that uAvionix has created a 1-chip, 5 gram ADS-B in [not 'out', as originally posted] receiver for my phantom.
That means my drone's software can automatically drift out of the way of any approaching aircraft (even airliners at significant altitude).

This will be a game-changer in Uav access for PhantomPilots.

Wouldn't it also have to be ADS-B in? I can definitely see the possibilities here. With ADS-B in, software on the drone could see traffic and move itself out of the way.

It's a receiver, not a transmitter, which makes much more sense.
